Bitacora del Adobe MAX Chicago 2007: Dia 1

Buenos días Chicago!

9:54 - Ya nos hemos levantado y después de ver algunas de las fotos que ha colgado Biskero nos vamos hacia el Adobe MAX para hacer el registro como Speakers.

Una vez allí intentaremos postear algunas fotos de las salas de conferencias ;)

Pues ya estamos en el Speaker Ready Room, con conexioón wifi confirmada, lo que nos permitirá estar mucho mas al dia con esta bitácora que nos hemos propuesto mantener. Os enviamos algunas fotos más para que os podáis hacer idea de cómo es esto!

18.45 - Antes de ir a cenar hemos pensado en subir unas fotos del paseo que hemos dado por Chicago, tenemos la suerte de que el bus nos coge y nos deja justo delante del hotel, ocn lo que se nos va a hacer muy facil las escapaditas al centro de la ciudad :)

Hemos podido conocer a algunos personajes LEGO, una tienda que estaba muy bien y que contaba alrededor de ella con varias figuras integradas en la decoración del centro comercial.

Luego hemos estado viendo algunos de los gigantes rascacielos de Chicago. Es domingo y en la zona central había bastante gente, pero no demasiado tráfico... ya veremos en días posteriores

En Oviedo no hay de estos...
Más tarde pasamos por uno de los muchísimos centros comerciales y Raul decidió renovar sus gastadas bambas. Aún las conservo!!, si alguien se anima hacemos un concurso y las regalamos!!

Y bueno, pudimos acceder a una apple store, donde vimos de primera mano las novedades de la marca de la manzana, entre ellas el iphone y el nuevo iPod Touch. La verdad que tener un cacharrito de estos en las manos te hace dudar mucho el no comprarlo, aunque no fueras con esa intención.

Bitacora del Adobe MAX Chicago 2007: Dia 0

14:30 - Estamos en el aeropuerto Charles de Gaulle de Paris en la que sera nuestra tercera ruta del dia.

Ruta numero 1: Esta fue la ruta original, creo que fue la mejor, ya que llegabamos a Chicago a las 14:00 pasando antes por Londres. Finalmente no pudimos tomar ese vuelo (por una serie de catastroficas desdichas) y tuvimos que comprar unos billetes nuevos que es la Ruta numero 2.

Ruta numero 2: Bastante parecida a la anterior, pero ibamos a Chicago pasando por Paris. El avion llego tarde y nos han dado una nueva ruta para llegar a Chicago pasando por Washington.

Ruta numero 3: Quien sabe si quiza sea la ultima, teoricamente llegamos a Chicago a las 23.10 pasando por Washington...

COMPLETADA FASE 1: Estamos en Chicago a las 23,30 hora local, lo que quiere decir que hemos hecho un viaje de 23,30 horas seguidas entre movidas, escalas, y vuelos... imaginaros como estamos... por los suelos... Pero como compensación disfrutamos de algunas de las cosas que os dejamos en estas fotos...

Flash Lite 3.0: Este domingo

Flash Lite 3.0 será anunciado este domingo como una de las principales novedades del Adobe MAX 2007, aunque a través de Vnunet.com ya se han desvelado algunos datos oficiales, como por ejemplo que estará basado en el Flash Player 8.

En el artículo de Vnunet, también se habla acerca de la implantación del Player, uno de los principales problemas respecto a su principal competidor, J2ME. Avi Greengart, comenta al respecto que gran parte del éxito de Adobe en los móviles se forjará convenciendo a los fabricantes de móviles de instalar Flash Lite como reproductor predeterminado en sus dispositivos.

Mucho se ha especulado sobre que hará Adobe para conseguir una mayor penetración de mercado para Flash Lite Player, y desde BlocketPc siempre hemos confiado el que no tardarán en dar un bombazo... ¿Será este domingo?

Adobe Caso de Estudio: Moket

Adobe, dentro de su showcase, ha publicado un nuevo caso de estudio que nos afecta directamente. No pocas veces ha aparecido por nuestros post el nombre de Dale Rankine, manager del grupo de usuarios para móviles y dispositivos de Australia (OZMaD), y CEO de Moket, una empresa desarrolladora de contenidos en flash lite, y además agregadora y distribuidora de contenidos.

Este caso de estudio refleja alguna de las características y espectativas que ha generado Moket en el panorama Flash Lite, y cómo está aportando contenidos de excelente calidad. De todo esto, cabe destacar que se puede solicitar el unirse a su Content Network, para proveer contenidos que se encargarán de distribuir, una buena manera de sacar nuestros contenidos al mercado.

Mobile and Devices Boot Camp – Adobe MAX Chicago 2007

Adobe MAX 2007 Chicaco está tan solo a una semana.... Este año además de las sesiones de Flash Lite y Móviles, hay una sesion especial: El Boot Camp de móviles y dispositivos, el Miércoles 3 entre las 9 y las 12,30pm.

Los managers de los siete grupos de usuarios de móviles y dispositivos de Adobe, se juntarán en el evento con contenido y ponentes de calidad. La idea detrás del "MaD Boot Camp" (como así se ha denominado) es permitir a cualquier interesado en el mundo móvil y Flash Lite preguntar cuestiones y compartir sus ideas. El formato de la sesión será muy informal con exposiciones, discusiones y preguntas y respuestas. Pensamos que sin duda va a ser muy bueno y invitamos a cualquiera a unirse a nosotros y traer su contenido Flash Lite para mostrarlo a los demás.

Raúl mostrará una aplicación que estamos desarrollando para Flash Lite dentro del Showcase, y servidor mostrará el Layoutsistem dentro de "Herramientas e integración", que ya adelantamos muy tímidamente en los Talleres de Subflash 2007 (y que ya puedo decir que está terminado en su version primera :) )

Adobe MAX 2007 Chicago is about one week away. This year in addition to the Flash Lite and Mobile sessions there will be a special session: The Mobile and Devices Boot Camp, on Wednesday 9AM-12:30PM.
The managers of the seven Adobe Mobile and Devices User Group put together the event with some great content and presenters. The idea behind the "MaD Boot Camp" is to allow anyone interested in Mobile and Flash Lite to ask questions and share their ideas. The format of the session will be pretty informal with presentations, discussions and Q/A. We think that it's going to be great and we invite anyone to join us and bring your Flash Lite content to show to others.
